Established in 2017, Africa Quantum is a strategic and financial advisory firm operating across Africa, advising governments, corporations, and investors on complex, high-stakes transactions and critical financial decisions.

Our Founders

Idayath OLORY-TOGBE

Idayath is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Order of Chartered Accountants of Benin, holding advanced qualifications from the Créteil Academy in Paris and Versailles.

 

She brings extensive expertise in assisting investors in Africa, with a specialized focus on business start-ups, accounting, tax consultancy, and human resources. Her robust background includes serving as a tax and accounting consultant for prominent financial engineering firms across the sub-region, as well as managing complex project developments and financial administration.

 

Idayath is fully bilingual in French and English, allowing her to provide versatile, high-tier professional support to a diverse clientele.

Thierno OLORY-TOGBE

Thierno is a legal and finance professional with 20 years of experience spanning complex commercial litigation, investment dispute resolution, sovereign debt management, Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), and project finance.

 

His career includes serving as Chief Legal Counsel at the African Legal Support Facility (hosted by the African Development Bank), where he spent eight (08) years assisting African governments in strategic areas such as sovereign debt, extractive industries, energy, and infrastructure. 

From 2023 to 2024, he served as Technical Legal Advisor to the Senior Minister of Economy and Finance of Benin, prior to being appointed as a member of Benin’s Electricity Regulation Authority National Council, by the President of the Republic of Benin, for a 5-year tenure.

Thierno holds an Executive Certificate in Economic Development from the Harvard Kennedy School and multiple master’s degrees in law (Paul Cézanne Aix-Marseille University, France), finance (Aston Business School, United Kingdom), and management (Grenoble Graduate School of Management, France).

 

He is fluent in French, English and Spanish.
